The person behind the camera.
I’m Richard Nyce, a Northeast Ohio photographer and creative based in Macedonia, Ohio. My work centers on creating natural, intentional images that feel genuine, polished, and true to the people and moments in front of my camera.
Photography has always stood out to me because it can preserve more than just what something looked like. A strong image can capture personality, emotion, atmosphere, and the small details that are easy to forget over time. That is what I try to bring into every session—images that feel authentic in the moment and still hold meaning years later.
I’m currently a student at Kent State University, where I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Emerging Media and Technology with minors in Web Design and Development and Photography. My education has allowed me to work across photography, design, web development, digital media, technology, and user experience. That combination has shaped the way I approach creative work. I’m not only thinking about how an image looks, but also how it communicates, how it fits into a larger story, and how people will experience it.
